We never fill gaps with scraped contacts or generated estimates. Every record you see already exists in a public dataset, and estimated values carry an "Est." prefix so sourcing is unambiguous.

Source verification: every dataset points to an official government publisher
Cross-referencing: school identifiers validated against NCES CCD IDs before ingestion
Anomaly detection: automated statistical checks flag outliers for manual review
No synthetic data: zero generated or curated values without explicit "Est." labels

Data Freshness Indicators
Green signals mean the dataset refreshed within its SLA. Amber and red appear when a refresh window is approaching or overdue.
ESSA Field Coverage
The four federally-mandated ESSA §1111(h) fields, each with its load status, last load, and canary state. Red means the field has not yet been ingested — we surface the gap rather than fill it.
