How to Use the Award Tracker

Track federal awards and spending at the school and district level from USASpending data.

What It Does

The Award Tracker shows real federal award data from USASpending.gov at the school and district level. See what funding has been awarded, obligated, and spent over the last 5 years. Compare your district's awards against state and national benchmarks to spot over- or under-funding.

Track obligations and outlays by program and year, with trend visualization showing how funding patterns have shifted.

Who It's For

Educators and district administrators who want to understand their federal funding history. Researchers analyzing spending patterns. Vendors who want to see which districts are receiving the most funding in specific program areas.
