How to Use the Compliance Monitor

Track compliance status across federal programs with risk scoring and deadline reminders.

What It Does

The Compliance Monitor tracks your district's compliance status across all federal programs. It pulls Federal Single Audit data, monitors reporting deadlines, and scores compliance risk using real audit findings and corrective action history.

The dashboard shows open findings, upcoming deadlines, and trend data so you can see whether compliance is improving or deteriorating over time.

Who It's For

District administrators and compliance officers responsible for federal program reporting. Also useful for educators preparing for audits or wanting to understand their district's compliance posture.

How to Use It

  1. Open Compliance Monitor from the sidebar under the Compliance Suite.
  2. Enter your district name or NCES ID to load compliance data.
  3. Review the dashboard showing overall compliance score, open findings, and upcoming deadlines.
  4. Click any finding to see details, corrective action requirements, and resolution timeline.
  5. Use the calendar view to see all reporting deadlines for the current fiscal year.
  6. Set up email alerts for deadlines approaching within 30 days.
