What It Does
Equity Analysis computes equity scores using real CRDC data, including discipline rates, demographic disparity analysis, and resource allocation patterns. Select a district to see equity scores across all its schools with breakdowns by race, gender, and disability status.
The tool tracks suspension rate trends and flags schools where disparities are widening. This data is essential for Title I needs assessments and school improvement plans.
Who It's For
Educators, district equity officers, and researchers focused on educational equity. Also used by grant writers who need equity data to support funding justifications.
How to Use It
- Open Equity Analysis from the sidebar under the School Intelligence Suite.
- Search for a district to see equity scores across all its schools.
- Review the KPI cards showing overall equity score, disparity index, and year-over-year trend.
- Click any school in the list to see its detailed equity breakdown by demographic group.
- Use the trend tab to see how equity metrics have changed over the last 3-5 years.
- Export the equity report as PDF for board presentations or grant applications.
Tips
- Look for schools where the overall score is moderate but specific demographic disparities are severe.
- The trend data is more actionable than the snapshot. Improving trends may not need intervention; worsening ones do.
- Cite equity data directly in Title I and IDEA applications for stronger justification language.
Plan Required
Starter ($99/mo) for district-level equity data. Professional ($249/mo) for school-level breakdowns and trend analysis.
