What It Does
The Grant Prospector uses AI to find matching grant programs across federal, state, and private sources. Describe what you need funding for in plain language, and the prospector searches grant databases, scores each result against your school profile, and ranks them by match quality.
Matched grants are automatically saved to your grant pipeline so you can track them from discovery through application and award.
Who It's For
Educators and district administrators looking for funding sources beyond the programs they already know about. Also used by grant writers who want to expand their search beyond familiar programs.
How to Use It
- Open Grant Prospector from the sidebar under the Funding Suite.
- Select your school to load its profile data for matching.
- Describe what you need funding for in the text box (e.g., "STEM lab equipment for grades 3-5").
- Review matched grants, each showing program name, match score, estimated amount, and deadline.
- Click any match to see full eligibility details and application requirements.
- Click "Add to Pipeline" to track promising grants in your Grant Pipeline.
Tips
- Be descriptive about your need. Include grade level, subject area, and the specific type of resource or program.
- Run multiple searches with different descriptions to cast a wider net across grant databases.
- Check the match score breakdown to understand why a program was recommended and whether it fits.
Plan Required
