Subscription Cancellations

We want you to have complete control over your ThinkKits subscription. You can cancel your plan at any time through your account settings with just a few clicks.

Monthly Subscriptions

Cancellation: You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing cycle.

Refunds: No refunds are provided for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, you'll retain access to all features until your billing period ends.

          Example: If you cancel on March 15th and your billing cycle runs March 1-31, you'll keep access until March 31st.
        

Annual Subscriptions

30-Day Guarantee: Annual plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Cancel within 30 days of your initial purchase for a full pro-rated refund.

After 30 Days: No refunds are available after the 30-day window. Your subscription will remain active until the annual renewal date.

Pro-rated Calculation: Refund = (Days Unused ÷ 365) × Annual Plan Cost

One-Time Purchases

Reports & Credit Packs

No Refunds After Delivery: Custom reports, grant templates, and API credit packs are non-refundable once generated or delivered to your account.

Quality Guarantee: If a report contains errors or doesn't meet the specifications you requested, we'll provide a corrected version at no charge.

Curriculum Kits

Physical Products: ThinkKits manipulative kits can be returned within 30 days of delivery if unused and in original packaging.

Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged or defective upon arrival.

Enterprise Contracts

Custom Agreements

Enterprise customers with Master Service Agreements (MSA) follow the specific cancellation and refund terms outlined in their contract.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

Cancel in 3 Easy Steps

Log into your account
Sign in to your ThinkKits account and navigate to your dashboard.
Go to Settings → Billing
Click on your profile menu, select "Settings", then click "Billing & Subscription".
Click "Cancel Subscription"
Follow the prompts to confirm your cancellation. You'll receive an email confirmation within minutes.

Important

After cancellation, you'll lose access to saved searches, watchlists, and exported data when your billing period ends. Consider exporting any important information before canceling.

Refund Processing

Timeline & Methods

Credit Card: 3-5 business days after approval
PayPal: 1-2 business days after approval
Bank Transfer: 5-7 business days after approval

Refund Approval Process

Eligible refund requests are typically processed within 2 business days. You'll receive an email confirmation with the refund amount and expected timeline.

All refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. If the original payment method is no longer available, please contact our billing team for alternative arrangements.

Account Data After Cancellation

Data Retention

30 Days: Your account remains in "suspended" status with data preserved
30-90 Days: Account data is archived but can be restored upon reactivation
After 90 Days: Account data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered

Data Export

Before your account expires, you can export your saved schools, watchlists, and search history through your account settings. This ensures you don't lose important research or data.
