WCAG 2.1 Level AA Commitment

ThinkKits is committed to providing a platform that is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. Our target conformance level for public-facing product and help documentation is WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Current Accessibility Status

Keyboard Navigation

Implemented

Primary workflows are operable by keyboard, including navigation menus, links, forms, and modal controls using tab order and visible focus states.

Screen Reader Compatibility

In Progress

Core pages use semantic HTML and labeled controls. Ongoing improvements are focused on dynamic content announcements and landmark consistency.

Color Contrast

Passing Baseline

Design system components are tested for minimum 4.5:1 contrast for standard text and 3:1 for large text and UI controls.

Section 508 Alignment

ThinkKits aligns accessibility practices with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d) and follows the Revised 508 standards that reference WCAG 2.0/2.1 success criteria for electronic and information technology.

Known Limitations

Some historical dashboard chart components need improved screen reader text alternatives.
A small subset of legacy icon-only actions require clearer accessible names.
Certain table-heavy data exports need improved keyboard focus behavior after sorting.
